Hello Woods Families,
Week 16 brings us through the final days before Winter Break! It was a fun-filled week with dress-up days, candy canes galore, and lots of school spirit. Our 4K and 5K families were treated to a special Kringle breakfast to wrap up the week — what a sweet way to end the week!
🎄 School Highlights
🍭 Student Council Candy Cane Fundraiser
The Woods School Student Council wrapped up their holiday fundraiser by delivering hundreds of festive candy-grams to students and staff, spreading cheer throughout the building. In addition to the hand-delivered candy-grams, several hundred plain and decorated candy canes were sold and enjoyed by students.
This beloved Woods tradition raised nearly $600 for our school! Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success.
🎁 Giving Tree
All gifts from the Giving Tree have been delivered to families. Once again, thank you to everyone who contributed and helped spread holiday joy within our community. 💛

🌟 Student Spotlight
Each week we’ll share a joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our amazing students. Be on the lookout to see if your student is featured!
This week’s submission comes from Declan in 2nd Grade:
Riddle:
I have legs but cannot walk,
Surrounded by mouths but cannot talk,
You put food on me, but I am not a plate.
What am I?
Answer: A table!
Parents recognize it as the only surface no one ever cleans — but everyone uses. 😄
❄️ We hope each of you has a wonderful break, whether home or away. Enjoy time to rest, recharge, and make memories. We’ll see you in the New Year!
School resumes Monday, January 5th.
Together in Education,
The Woods Staff
