Hello Woods Families,
Everyone seemed well-rested in Week 10 after gaining that extra hour of sleep with the time change! Our students jumped right back into learning and fun. Here are a few important things to know:
School Updates
The Frog Lady Visit
The WPTG brought in The Frog Lady this past week, and all students spent 30-45 minutes learning about animals from around the world while seeing them up close. The upper grades even had the chance to hold and touch some of them!
Quarter 1 Report Cards
Report cards were sent home this week. If you did not receive one, please contact your student's teacher.
Student Council Dress-Up Fundraiser
Our first dress-up fundraiser of the year brought in over $80 for the school! Thank you to our student council-and to all families who participated!

Student Spotlight
Each week we will share one joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our very own students. Be on the lookout to see if your student is featured!
This week's submission comes from Briseis in 5th Grade:
Fun Fact: Some of the prettiest plants are invasive-like Lilies of the Valley.
Briseis also included a drawing (attached).
They smell angelic but behave a… lily-bit wild!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Together in Education,
The Woods Staff
