Week 9 was short and sweet! Our teachers wrapped up the week with an in-service day, spending time preparing, planning, and getting things ready for all the exciting weeks ahead. We have lots happening as we head into November, so be sure to check out the important reminders below!

🎶 Seussical Jr. – Featuring Our Woods Wildcats!
Come cheer on some of our talented Woods students as they perform in Seussical Jr. from October 30–November 8! Please see the attached flyer for show details. There are two different casts, so be sure to check the cast information when choosing which performance to attend!

🇺🇸 Veterans Day Celebration – November 11
Please mark your calendars! Our Veterans Day Celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 11, at 2:30 PM. We look forward to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country.
🎃 Teacher Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Our teachers got creative this week with a fun pumpkin decorating contest! Students and staff were invited to vote for their favorite, and we had some fantastic entries.

We are busy preparing for our annual Pilgrim Feast! Each classroom has been assigned an item to contribute. Please review your child's grade-level assignment below and be sure to send in the requested item.

🧥 Winter Clothing Exchange Is Open!
The Winter Clothing Exchange rack is stocked and ready for shopping! Families are welcome to stop by after school any day and check it out in the office. It's a great way to find something your Wildcat may need as the temperatures continue to drop.
🌎 Cultural Experience – November 5
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, WPTG is hosting a special cultural experience for our students on November 5!
We are excited to welcome Ho-Chunk Tribal Dancers, who will perform and share history and knowledge about their culture with our students.
As part of the experience, students will also have the opportunity to taste maple candy, a traditional sweet treat. The candy is made from pure maple syrup in a nut-free facility. If your child cannot have this treat, please send a note to their teacher.
