Week 4 was a busy one at Woods! From Wildcat Sports and Aimsweb testing for our younger students to an incredible Wheelchair Basketball Assembly hosted by the WPTG, it was a week full of learning, activity, and fun. 🏀
The Wheelchair Basketball Assembly was such a wonderful experience for our students, and we are grateful to the WPTG for bringing this opportunity to Woods!
1. 🍎 Hot Lunch Reminder
If your student will be late and would like a hot lunch, please let the office know. Hot lunches are ordered at
8:30 AM each morning
.
2. 🍎 Teacher Appreciation Surprise!
Each year, senior football players from Badger High School make surprise classroom visits to recognize and thank a teacher who has made a positive impact on their lives. We were thrilled to have two of our very own teachers honored this week!
Former Woods student Jackson Kuchenberg surprised Mrs. Kawlewski, while Calvin Ecklund recognized Mr. Lofy. What a special way to show appreciation for teachers who make a difference! ❤️
3. 🚗 Carline Safety Reminder
Carline is running more smoothly each day, and we appreciate everyone doing their part to keep things moving safely!
We know the kids are excited to see their friends, but please remind your child to keep hands, feet, and heads inside the vehicle at all times. Please no hanging out of windows or sunroofs—safety first, Wildcats! 🐾
4. 🎄 Calling All Christmas Parade Helpers!
Yes, we're already thinking about Christmas! 🎄 We are beginning to plan for our annual Christmas Parade and are in need of a trailer. If you have a trailer the school could borrow, please contact the front office. Thank you for helping us make the parade a success!

🎉 Student Spotlight
Each week, we’ll feature a joke, fun fact, or riddle from one of our amazing students!
This week’s joke comes from Adisyn (8th Grade):
🪜 Q: What do you call an alligator in a vest?
A: An investigator!🐊
Parenting is basically one long investigation with several uncooperative witnesses. 😂
