storm

Hello Woods Families,

Week 32 was packed with activity! Students stayed busy with Forward Testing, Yoga, Zumba, Storm Science presentations, and even an exciting field trip. It’s been a week full of movement, learning, and memorable experiences!

📝 Forward Testing Continues (Grades 3–8)

We will continue Forward Testing next week.

  • This is a state-required assessment for grades 3–8

  • It contributes to our school report card

  • Results will be shared at the beginning of next school year

While we know students are more than a single test score, this is one of many tools we use to support growth and continuous improvement at Woods.

👂 Hearing Screenings Begin

Monday, April 13 marks the start of our schoolwide hearing exams.

Results will be sent home. If you prefer your child not participate, please email Mrs. Hoselton at thoselton@woodsschool.com.

🏛️ 4th Grade Field Trip – Madison

Our 4th grade class enjoyed their annual trip to Wisconsin State Capitol this week!

This is always a highlight of the year, and it looks like students had a fantastic time exploring and learning.

🌪️ Storm Science Presentation

Thanks to our amazing WPTG, students experienced a Storm Science Presentation — bringing science to life in an engaging and unforgettable way. Hands-on learning at its best!
