Hello Woods Families,
Week 29 was short but full of variety — starting with Mother Nature snowing us in and ending with some beautiful sunshine! ☀️ We celebrated with Pi Day and St. Patrick’s Day while wrapping up a few final details before Spring Break.
👂 Hearing Screenings – Rescheduled
Schoolwide hearing exams have been rescheduled to:

📦 Cereal Boxes Needed
Our Middle School Spanish classes are still collecting empty cereal boxes to make piñatas for Cinco de Mayo. Thank you for your support!
📝 Forward Testing (Grades 3–8)
April 7–17
Students in 3rd–8th grade will participate in Forward Testing, a required state assessment.
This assessment contributes to our school report card
Results will be shared at the beginning of next school year
While we know students are so much more than a single test score, this is one of many tools we use to support continuous growth and improvement at Woods.
🏫 Open Enrollment Reminder
The Open Enrollment window remains open for another month.
Open Enrollment is unique to Wisconsin and allows families to explore schools outside their resident district.
