Hello Woods Families,

We’ve completed Week 27 of the 2025–2026 school year! Spring may be in the air, but please remember to send your Wildcat dressed for recess, as Wisconsin weather can still bring a little bit of everything. 🌦️

🏐 New Addition – Air Square!

Students who sold their crafts at the Craft Fair helped decide how to give back to the school — and they chose to purchase a 9 Square (Air Square)!

This is something our students can feel proud of bringing to Woods School. This week, classes had their first chance to try it out during PE, and it looks like it’s already a big hit! 🎉

⭐ Student Spotlight

Each week we share a joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our students. Keep an eye out — your student might be featured!

This week’s submission comes from Etta in 1st Grade:

Fun Fact: A horse’s ear position can indicate its mood, and they can even point in different directions to listen to two things at once. 🐴

(Be sure to check out Etta’s attached drawing!)

Parents may not have rotating ears like horses, but we do have highly developed “someone’s arguing upstairs” radar.
