Hello Woods Families,

Week 26 was Hockey Challenge Week — a beloved Woods tradition! Students competed against other classrooms, students faced off against parents, staff battled the 8th graders, and we even enjoyed Alumni Night. It was a week full of school spirit, friendly competition, and lots of fun! 🎉

🎭 Spring Play Rehearsals Underway
All-cast play practice began this week as students gear up for the final Spring Play performance on:

📅 March 12, 2026

  • 2:00 pm

  • 6:00 pm

We can’t wait to see all their hard work shine on stage!

Science Meets Magic

Students in 3rd–5th Grade attended The Science of Magic with Bill Blagg at Young Auditorium.

This highly interactive presentation gave students a firsthand look at how magicians use science to create the impossible — learning, laughter, and amazement all rolled into one!

⭐ Student Spotlight

Each week we’ll share a joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our students. Be on the lookout — your child might be featured!

This week’s submission comes from Rosalie in 2nd Grade:

Q: Why was 6 afraid of 7?

A: Because 7 ate (8) 9 🔢

Numbers are ruthless — no wonder homework feels intense.
