Hello Woods Families,

Week 25 brought us a fun milestone — our 100th day of school! 🎉 Kindergarten also took their annual trip to “Hawaii,” which is always a student favorite. What a great week of celebration and learning!

🏊‍♂️ Water Safety & Swim Lessons

We are incredibly grateful for the Lake Geneva YMCA, who partners with local schools to provide 2nd grade swim lessons and water safety instruction.

Our 2nd graders began their swim journey this week. Living near a beautiful lake, water safety isn’t just a good idea — it’s an important way to help keep our students safe. 💙

⭐ Student Spotlight

Each week we’ll share a joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our students. Keep an eye out — your child might be featured!

This week’s submission comes from Mabi in 4th Grade:

Q: Why would a bee not move up a grade?

A: Because it’s “beehind” 🐝

Some days we’re all just trying not to be beehind… especially before 8 a.m.

Enjoy the weekend!

Together in Education,

The Woods Staff
