Celebrating 38 Ski Seasons & Valentine Fun
Hello Woods Families,
Week 24 wrapped up our 38th ski season! 🎿 A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made this tradition possible—especially the parent volunteers who helped with lessons, boots, buckles, and all the adjustments in between. Lifelong memories are truly made on the ski hill. We also rounded out the week with some festive Valentine’s Day fun! 💌
🏫 Open Enrollment – DPI Update
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has officially opened the Open Enrollment window.
Open Enrollment is for NEW families/students only
Current open-enrolled Woods students do not need to reapply
Siblings of current Woods students are guaranteed a seat, but paperwork is still required

🔬 Science Immersion Day – UW–Madison
The following students were selected by their teachers to participate in Science Immersion Day hosted by University of Wisconsin–Madison:
Henry G., Greta A., Patrick H., and Clara L.
Along with over 100 students from various schools, they enjoyed a fun-filled day exploring multiple fields of science, including hands-on microbiology and physics activities.

The Book Fair was a HUGE success! 🎉

Teachers received every book on their wishlists
Families helped fulfill wishlist requests
