Hello Woods Families,
Week 14 brought our first big snow of the season! ❄️ The halls have been buzzing with holiday cheer as everyone gears up for the Craft Fair and the Lake Geneva Christmas Parade this weekend.
⭐ Important Things to Know
🎁 Giving Tree
Thank you to everyone who has already chosen a star from the Giving Tree outside the office. There are still stars available—feel free to stop in during school hours to choose one.
Please remember:
Let the front office know which number you picked.
Gifts are due December 15th, wrapped with the star number facing up.
🍎 Teacher Favorites
While our teachers never expect gifts, we know many families like to share a little extra gratitude during the holiday season. To make things easier, teachers have shared some of their favorite things—you can find the spreadsheet HERE.
Winter Weather
Winter is fast approaching! Unless it’s raining or below zero, students will be heading outside to play. Please make sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather.
If your child needs winter gear, email Mrs. Hoselton—we’re here to help.
🧣 Donate Outgrown Gear
Has your child outgrown their winter clothes? Our teachers keep “extras” on hand when available. We gladly accept donations at the front office.
🎄 Annual Craft Fair – This Saturday!
Join us this Saturday from 9–3 for our Annual Craft Fair! Come support our 8th graders, shop local vendors, and soak in the holiday spirit.
✨ WPTG Craft Booth
Be sure to check out WPTG’s booth on 12/6, where Woods students will be selling their handmade holiday creations!

😂 Student Spotlight
Each week we share a joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our amazing Woods students—keep an eye out to see if your child is featured!
This week’s submission comes from Aria in 4th Grade:
Q: What did the peanut say to the monkey?
A: Nothing of course, peanuts can’t talk.
Good thing peanuts can’t talk… they’d rat us out for finishing the good snacks after bedtime. 😉
Have a great weekend, and we hope to see you at the Craft Fair!
Together in Education,
The Woods Staff
