🌲 Woods School Weekly Newsletter – Week 6 🌲
Fire Prevention Week
This week we recognized Fire Prevention Week!
We are so grateful to our EMS, Fire, and Police departments for keeping our community safe each and every day. ❤️
Thank you for all that you do!
💛 Special Thanks
A huge thank-you to our WPTG for hosting today’s Cultural Lunch!
All students enjoyed a handmade pretzel from Baker Meister and some lively accordion music.
We appreciate all the moms who volunteered during the three lunch periods — your support made this event a big success!
📸 School Photos
School photos were sent home this week.
If you’d like a retake, please have your student return their proof/photo package on Retake Day, currently scheduled for November 10th.
🌿 Calling All Gardeners!
Do you have hand gardening tools you no longer use?
Our FCS (Family and Consumer Science) class would love to take them off your hands!
As they begin their food unit, they’ll also be working in the Woods School gardening beds.
Donations are greatly appreciated — thank you for supporting our hands-on learners!

😄 Student Spotlight
Each week we’ll feature a joke, fun fact, or drawing from one of our amazing students.
Be on the lookout to see if your student is featured next!
This week’s submission comes from Etta in 1st Grade:
🗣️ “What do race horses eat?”
🐴 Answer: Fast food!
Looks like even the racehorses can’t resist a quick bite on the go!
Have a wonderful weekend!
