Hello Woods Families,

Week 4 still felt like summer! Our fall sports and running club are keeping the students busy. There is such a strong link between extra curricular participation and student success fostering valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.

Here are a few important things to know:

  1. September 29 - October 3 is spirit week! Here are our dress up days:

    1. Monday - Dress to Impress, it’s school picture day

    2. Tuesday: Everyone’s favorite Pajama Day

    3. Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday

    4. Thursday: Surf or Turf Day - beach wear or bike gear

    5. Friday: Show your school spirit. Wear something WOODS

All of these fun days followed by our first pep assembly of the year!

  1. Our band is also getting excited for the Badger Homecoming Parade coming up! Don’t miss the parade on Friday, October 3rd in downtown Lake Geneva.

  2. Do you have some hand gardening tools that you do not use? The FCS class would be grateful to take them off your hands. The FCS class is starting its food unit right now. Along with the food unit, they are going to incorporate the gardening beds at Woods school.

  3. Please see the attached flyer from the LG YMCA regarding the Winter Gear Closet.

  4. Please note that there will be NO ASDC on Tuesday, September 30th.

  5. WPTG Spotlight: Family Bowling Night is tonight at Delavan Lanes from 5-7. It is not too late to join us! Walk-ins are welcome!
