Hello Woods Families,
Week 2, our first full week of school was a huge success filled with beautiful weather and sunshine. Middle school students are gearing up for student council elections. Being a part of the student council is an excellent opportunity for leadership development and boosting school spirit. Good luck to all nominees.
Here are a few important things to know:
Practice began last week for Middle School Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country. Want to come cheer on your Wildcat or root for a friend? Visit this LINK to see the game times and locations. The first volleyball and soccer games are Monday, September 15th and our first cross country meet is Thursday, September 18th!
Our students in 3-8th grade completed their benchmark testing this past week on iReady for math and reading. These scores are used by our teaching staff to individualize their learning and increase learning in areas of need. Thank you for having your student at school and ready to learn!
The return to school always comes with some challenges, besides new routines, we also encounter some illness’. We are always striving to keep your child and our staff happy and healthy. Please use the guidelines in the attached packet to assess your child.

Did you know? - School fees are always available to pay via Pushcoin. This includes field trips, ASDC, lunches, and more. If you need help setting up your account please contact the school office.
WPTG Spotlight: Thank you to everyone who has turned in the School Directory Form. If you haven’t already done so, one is attached for your convenience, please return it to the school office as soon as possible. WPTG is also holding a Family Bowling Fundraiser at Delavan Lanes on 9/26. See attached flyer and join in on the fun while supporting our group!
