Middle school cohort transitioning to Virtual Learning
Alyson Eisch
Monday, November 16, 2020

Dear Families,

Earlier today, we received information that one of our middle school teachers is presumed positive for Covid-19.  Because our middle school teachers, counselor and middle school sub are close contacts with another they will be quarantining and we are making the tough decision to transition to virtual learning for grades 6-8.  This decision is being made out of an abundance of caution and an effort to keep all staff and students safe.  We will plan to have the cohort return to in person learning on Monday Nov. 30th.

At this time we are not requiring that middle school siblings be picked-up but would ask families to monitor closely for symptoms.  Please let us know if you would prefer to have your middle schooler's siblings at home as well so that we can set them up for Woods at Home.

Please know that we are taking this action to protect the health and safety of our students, staff, and families.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
