More about our fall virtual learning option:

What is Woods at Home?
It's an option for families who decide to start the school year at home.

How will it look?
Each grade level teacher will create a schedule for your family so that you will know when each child should "tune in" for live lessons being taught during the day.

Will my child be on-line all day?
No.  There will be specific times to watch the live lesson in order to learn new content.  The rest of the day will be flexible for families to complete the days classwork.  Specialists like art, languages, and music will also have livestream times.  The amount of screen time will look different based on student age.  A 4K student may have little to no screen time while an 8th grader could have longer lessons to attend.

Will we receive Chromebooks?
Yes, we will have a Chromebook assigned to each student grades 4K-8

Will all of my students need to participate in the same option?
No.  You can have some of your children at home and some at the building.

If I choose this option will they be home all semester?  Can I change my mind?
If you decide you would like your student to return to the physical building all you need to do is contact me and I will work with the teacher to arrange a good time to transition back to the school.

Can I utilize Woods at Home if my student must quarantine, is diagnosed with Covid-19 or needs to be home sick for several days?
Yes.  All you have to do is contact us and we will pack up school supplies, a Chromebook and the Woods at Home Schedule so that your child can stay connect during their time at home.
