•Special Education Instructional Assistant
This position is needed for a portion of each day of the week throughout the school year. The ideal candidate would have Wisconsin licensure as a professional educator (teacher). The successful candidate would assist the special education teacher to assure high-quality instruction for students receiving services through an IEP. This position will call for one-on-one and small group work either in the special education area or the classroom setting. Knowledge of and experience with special needs students, as well as reading and math instruction is preferred.
This is a 20-25 hrs/week position.
•After School Care Coordinator
Woods School offers an after school day care service for our students and their families. The program runs every day school is in session from the end of the school day until 5:30. On early release days, this would begin at 11:15. On regular days, the program starts at 3:30. Additional time will be provided each day for organization activities and record keeping. A teaching license or childcare certification is preferred but not required. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial. This is a 13-14 hrs/week position.
