A part of the physical education curriculum is a skiing unit at Grand Geneva. Students ski four times in January/February.  It is required that every student take a ski or snowboard lesson.

Thank you to Market Days and Student Council for their support!

Please read over the Grand Geneva Ski Program information sheets carefully. The Permission Slip and Release of Liability forms were due Thursday, December 17.

One major change for this year: all rental slips must be turned in upon our arrival between 11:45 and 12:30. If a rental slip is going to be saved for mom or dad when they come at 3:00 pm, the front page must be turned in when we "check in!" Any questions, please contact Mr. Lofy.

Dates:  January 8, 15, 29 and February 5

Time:   Buses will leave Woods at 11:30 and return at 3:20.

Parents:  If you pick up skiers, do so at the south end of the school. Please avoid the bus line and please do not pick up your child until 11:30. Our program runs from 12:00 until 3:00 pm.

SKI PROCEDURES

•    Send money to school by Thursday prior to the ski date.

•    Students in grades 1-5 should report to the gym for their lift tickets.  Students in grades 6-8 will receive their lift tickets in Science class.

•    The ski permission slip may be downloaded icon here.

Depending on the grade level of the skier, you should fill out the icon sample ski rental form at home and send it to school to assist your child in filling out the actual rental form.  Thank you for your cooperation with all the forms for skiing.  It's time consuming, but it is required by the Grand Geneva.
