Woods School

The first half of the Spanish Immersion Program will be ending on Wednesday, January 27th. The second half of the Spanish curriculum will start on Monday, February 22nd. The cost for the entire semester will be $84.00. Payment will be required in advance. Please complete the registration form that was sent home and send payment no later than February 15th.

I have seen great progress with the children so far and look forward to further instruction during the second half of the Woods School Spanish Immersion Program.

We will have a Graduation Program on May 24th. Parents are welcome to attend.

Your child has the opportunity to gain additional information in Spanish beyond his/her classroom curriculum. The class will be offered twice a week before school by M. Catthy Velasquez. The course will provide reinforcement and repetition of the concepts your child is learning in school while encouraging him/her to listen and speak in Spanish in an immersion setting.

Please note the following:

	•	Classes begin on Monday, October 19, 2009 and will follow the Woods School calendar.
	•	Classes meet for 40 minutes, twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7:45 am to 8:25 am in Mr. McMahon's classroom.
	•	The cost is $3.50 per class or $28.00 per month. You will be billed at the end of the month for the classes attended.
	•	Please complete the registration form that was sent home and return to your child's teacher by Wednesday, October 14th.
