What parents can expect this year in class:
As some of you may know, I was the elementary classroom aide last year at Woods School. During this time, I learned from many of the experienced teachers that have taught for years at Woods. While working with Nancy Hintz, I learned that Woods School is a truly wonderful learning environment and I am lucky to become a part of the team!
In 1st grade, students will improve their skills in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, and several other subjects. Weekly newsletters will be sent home to update parents on what we are currently learning about in the classroom.
Parents will be able to volunteer in the classroom throughout the year. There will be a sign up sheet sent out within the first few weeks of school.
I look forward to being the new 1st grade teacher at Woods School!
